Pets Do a Body Good

Although hard evidence is still less than conclusive, the health benefits of owning a pet may include the following, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
~Pets may decrease your blood pressure, feelings of loneliness, and cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
~Pets may encourage you to exercise more and spend more time outdoors and present opportunities for socialization.
To those of you who already know this because they experience the wonderful benefits of pet ownership, give your pet an extra kiss.
